There is always a new beginning for people who just lost their family or beloved ones. The journey of rebuliding will be tough but can become more easier with supports given by warm-hearted people.

 

    I just came back from office after a little bit over time work and dinner with Irene.

 

    God! I am full since I ate too much.......not very comfortable!! I forgot totally that I should be strict to diet.......when I was eating.  

 

     I was informed by my roommate that she would like to go back to our hometown after finishing termination procedure since the dept she worked in would be removed to Hangzhou based on company's strategy.

 

     I don't know whether it is a good decision for her or not, but to be with family members is really a good choice.... 

 

    

    Finally I had this holiday after over-tired work for a whole week. Still, nothing special but stayed at home and relaxed for almost the whole day. Watching TV drama Pride and Prejudice, the classic adaptation of Jane Austen’s most famous novel made by BBC in 1995, I spent hours in listening and searching. Here, maybe you are wondering why should I focus on listening and searching……, especially for searching? What did I search for? Huh?

    Ok, let me explain… First of all, I am sorry to be the destroyer of Intellectual Property Right again since I …… I downloaded the drama of Pride and Prejudice, BBC version of total 6 episodes from Internet last week. I used to watch this version from TV channel more than five years ago and was attracted by the acting which nears to the reality what Jane Austen wrote about. A couple of days ago, the advertisement of selling DVD version of this fantastic drama in JOYO, one of the online shopping website, caught my eyes but with not cheap price. So I decided to download it from Internet and had finished.

    Unfortunately, it can’t show the subtitles when played, either in English or in Chinese. Gosh!  I can only treat it as the amazing opportunity for practicing English listening skills. But I am in such a low level that can’t catch up each word but sometimes only the main idea as I saw this movie and read the novel before. In order to understand it well, I got to search for the scripts as well. God bless me! A complete one was found easily by google. Now, I can enjoy it more freely. In addition, keeping learning English by watching Pride and Prejudice has been my short-term goal as the course provided by EF was finished, and I need to follow some other useful programs to consolidate my current English Ability. Hope I can keep up and don’t give up….

 

    Wow! I found I lost my topic but wrote a lot of things about my activity of a destroyer and my excuse, haha!  Ok, come to the main point, here we go……..

 

    Actually I had nothing to tell before writing this essay. Etto asked me why there was no update in my blog recently, and I gave him the answer as “ nothing to tell”. We went on talking as usual, from one thing to another and no focus, assessing the ability of our temporary memory through the test BBC provided, we found something interesting. Then, I forgot how did it begin we talked about the colorful rings of mobile phone. To be honest, I translated “colorful ring” from its Chinese words literally. It means others can hear special music by dialing your mobile phone instead of the traditional ring, toot, toot….. and China mobile charges you. Etto got a free colorful ring and I found the music comes from Bandri. This beautiful music reminded me the golden days in University once I heard it since it was used as the background of the opening address of my literature program when I was the announcer.

    Although four years ago I recorded this opening address with Jet in that small but warm studio, I was quite clear the music was chosen from one of Bandri’s albums, Mist, as I did it by myself of music selection and words editing. I insisted on finding this song out and succeed.  Trying to recite the words according with the rhythm of the music, I asked Etto played the music at the same time with me and felt what I did before when hearing me….
