October 02 Bad news turns to be good Finally we got the confirmation that Heymee couldn't come to Shanghai this time. She can't get her VISA even though she can pay extra money for quick application but the Embassy of China in Korea closed for a whole week for our national holiday celebration.
Oh, what a pity!!
But we talked on line yesterday for hours until late night just like we were in a hotel room lying on bed for all girls topics. We are planning for our next meeting in Shanghai or Seoul seriously. As Heymee said before saying good night to each other last night, oh, probably I should say early morning instead of last night since the time was 2 AM here and 3 AM there in Korea when we finished conversation, haha! OK, come back to the point, She said our relationship has moved into a new stage of love relationship. HAHA
  Um, seems our friend relationship is getting stronger and solider by this unfinished trip caused by her careless on VISA application. HAHA!
Heymee, It is all your efforts! Don't be upset and disappointed anymore!  October 01 Anna Sui By Anna Sui Anna Sui is the founder of one of the famous brands Anna Sui in fashion world. She was born in year 1955 with both Chinese and American blood origin.
Anna Sui by Anna Sui, is the only fragrance named as Anna herself and this is one of my favorites.
 I prefer to wear it when the weather turns to be raining. Its gentle floral fragrance is very romatic. Has a mixture of bulgarian rose, bergamot, apricot, jasmine, rose and water lily...
Sometimes I feel this fragrance contains mom's smell which can reduce the pressure and keep me calm down, plus the purple color of the water looks so cool and mysterious. Some people call this perfume "Magic purple mirror" which can reflect your sensibilities. The scent is as light as your mood. Bad news from Heymee I got a bad news from Heymee in the morning when I just woke up. She called me and I was informed she couldn't make her trip today from Seoul to Shanghai due to her VISA problems.
Oh, my God! Poor Heymee!
Don't be sorry or gulity to me since I didn't angry about that but only felt it was a little bit pity. But for sure, as I mentioned exciting/good thing always starts with complex issues. We can still meet each other here in Shanghai when your VISA problems be fixed.
I will cross my finger and pray for your VISA and tomorrow's air ticket. August 27 Business Trip to Harbin I will go to Harbin next week for the period of Wednesday to Friday for new office setting up and staff orientation issues. That is the second chance for me be on the business trip in my current company. The first time was for Mid-Year review held in a five-star hotel in SZ where I learned some basic ideas about how to arrange and organize a meeting with groups of people, such as accommodations, transportations, dinner arrangements, job distributions, work flows and tips. I really cherished the chance my boss gave to me, although no time for me go out for sightseeing. However, I got two days leave after meeting to be with Etto during weekend.
 I have not been to Harbin before but heard of that northeast city is well-know for its International Ice and Sculpture Festival and Unique, Russian and European-influenced architecture.
A city once under Russian rule, it is influenced by Russian culture a lot, in areas of cuisine(sausages), food(bread), Vodka, bulidings as well.
Russian Byzantine-style church: St. Sophia Cathedral was the largest Orthodox Church building in the Far East then and it remains so till this day. It has now been made into a museum as a showcase of the multi-cultural architecture of Harbin.
I hope I get the chance visiting there during my trip in spare time.

July 06 Cool Water for women By Davidoff I got a free bottle of COOL WATER by DAVIDOFF with ECHO for men by DAVIDOFF, but only 5 or 10 ml.

I found the fragrance I prefer to always are very slight, sweet, fruity and clear. July 03 The first bottle of perfume I had - L'eau Par Kenzo My words was just inspired by the perfume I got yesterday.
As I told Sarah that I don't make up every day before go to work and seldom go to beauty salon but I was really interseted in Perfumes.
The first bottle of perfume I got, L'eau Par Kenzo for women by Kenzo was given by my mom before I graduated from University.  
It is classified as a refreshing, flowery fragrance. It all began with Kenzo's love of water. Kenzo's universe is a vast garden, and water is its source, the origin of every vital force. Simplicity, purity, and sincerity. The bottle of L'Eau Par Kenzo does not contain water - it is water.
This bottle of perfume was consumed very quickly during the first summer I spent in Shanghai. I was falling in love with its sweet, fruity fragrance, smells like water melon.
(To be continued) July 02 Echo Summer Fizz By Davidoff for Women This is a womens summer fragrance by Davidoff, SUMMER FIZZ, I suppose it is a limited edition, the big surprise given by a person. The theme of this perfume is " listen to your heart", launched in the autumn of year 2004. I was attracted by this perfume in that year, especially by the name since it was exactly the same as my english name. The first perfume I gave to my boyfriend is echo by davidoff for men since I have been addicted to cool water for a while and really like the fragrance Davidoff made.
The main accord of ECHO woman is this original grappa-white musk note. Very sweet! I immediately think pink when I smell Echo.

June 22 Sorry for no update recently I am really sorry for no updates recently in my space since I got tons of tasks and took overtime after being off duty in office almost everyday, even sometimes at home.
Actually there is no news, except my mom has already went back home.
The temperature is getting higher and higher with humid atmosphere which really makes me feel uncomfortable. I can still remember the experience I had in Guangzhou last labor holiday that I felt couldn't breathe walking on the street and insisted on getting air-condition power on indoors when others felt no necessary to use air-condition at all.
Finally I bought the train tickets for April, her boyfriend and I during lunch hour from Shanghai to Nanjing for atteding the wedding ceremony to be held on Saturday by one of my good friends.
We really cherish this opportunity, not only for giving our best wishes to the new couple, but also the chance for us getting together to share our current life and feeling. June 06 Over-tired and no OT work tomorrow I am quite tired today and no stop during the whole day, saying nothing of have a break every hour to relax my shoulder as I promised to Etto.
I didn't find time to check two mails Etto sent to me today but only got the main idear through the subjects, one was his currently job profile and the other was his bussiness trip to Xiamen tomorrow. In addition, I didn't talk with him so much tonight but spending time on doing OT at home at first and making phone call with my mom later on.
Oh, poor Etto... I am sorry for this...
  I promised to my mom that I would not take over time work tomorrow and accompany with her go shopping and chatting because I really felt guilty that my apartment was very very clean and all my dirty clothes were washed, she did all this for me, after I coming back home on Monday night.
Oh, I am a really bad daughter.....
 P.S, thanks so much Marco! I got your mail about suggetion on conducting interviews with candidates since we talked about this topic a couple of days ago. But I am really really sorry that I did read them carefully and give you the reply instantly...But promised to talk with you later, thanks so much for your encouragement which always be my motivation!

I will pick up my mom in Hongqiao airport four hours later!
 She leads a team and they are going to attend a training course about human resource management for ten days in a university. oh, forget to say my mom is a kind of HR AM in an official bureau. She has rich experience and is more diligent and responsible than me.
 I think this kind of character is given by my grandfather who is a surgeon in army. Doing surgical operation requires high sense of responsibilities, careful, strict and diligent. I was told that my grandfather couldn't fall asleep after finishing a surgery but checked patient two or three times in a night. He is really a good doctor.
My mom is the same, not checking patient although she used to be a nurse, she can take OT work until two o'clock in the night at home. Can't imagine she just works for kind of Governmental entity. How come if she works for a company?
She promised to bring me a lot of apricot since they are just ripe for harvest in my hometown.  May 29 ECHO in Spain The world is so small while Internet is so powerful and amazing!
Etto is my boyfriend I got to know from Web as all of you knew before. Yeah! We became lovers finally before we met each other in person.
Sarah, Sato and Marco are my good friends and all of them are the members of English town, the online english studying place where we met.
Still, Heymee, definitely my good friend although we haven't contacted with each other for months but always thinking about in our deep hearts.
All the person I mentioned above are my friends who we met through Internet at first and became friends later on although distance is really a big problem for us getting together and having a face to face meeting in real.
A couple of days ago, an interesting blog catched my eyes since the blogger has the same English name with me, in addition, her words are really really charming with her special writing style. After looking through all the essays she put on her blog, I was shocked by the common interests of favorite writer, beloved movies, musics between us.

I forgot how did we begin, and it became a singing night.
  Music really has some mirable effects reducing working pressure and throwing unhappy feelings. But happy time really flies since we noticed it was quite late and should go back home at around half past nine.
Talking about work on we back way, we found there would be a lot of tasks tomorrow and some of them were not that easy......but still, we need keep up trying to solve all problems smoothly...
Writing here, I remembered the last sentence in the novel "Gone with the wind" said by Scarlett: Tomorrow is another day!
Yes! Tomorrow is a new day, fulling of challenges, opporunities...... May 21 Appointment with Sarah Finally Sarah and I had an appointment today after getting know each other for about six months. We met each other at the exit of Metro line 2 around eleven o'clock.
That was quite nice time getting together with Sarah since both of us didn't feel uncomfortable or nervous but seems have been friends for years. We kept talking in english as promised, from one topic to another, laughing, drinking, eating and walking all the time......
I told Sato that Sarah and I hand in hand when walked along the street, and Sato said it seems cute, haha..... Sato, do you know what did Sarah say when we did that in street? Sarah said people would think we were lesbian if we were in HK..... haha

April 25 Came back from a wedding I just came back from a wedding ceremony. It was Shirley's.
The new couple was charming with sweet and happy smiles which from definitely their deep hearts. I was suddenly moved by this heavenly monment when they walked on red carpet hand in hand. April 24 One of my favorites -- Yoghurt Almost each time I was drinking Yoghurt when met Marco online.
The result was, Marco asked me drank yoghurt since I hadn't have my breakfeast yesterday morning when we met in msn. As Marco said," Echo, you must like yoghurt very much!", maybe I am addict to Yoghurt while some people addict to alcohol or coffee......
BTW, I used to write a sentece to describe the feeling Etto provided me as follows:
"To be with Etto is really nice and comfortable, just like drinking a bottle of Yoghurt under the sun while the soft wind is blowing around."  April 18 The expiry of my course in EF Tomorrow will be the last learning day for me studying in EF school.
Gosh, how time flies~
 I have been there for 6 months and how big changes during the past days. I got to know Heymee, Sarah, Sato, Marco.... a lot of friends from all over the world through EF online platform, the chatroom, really interesting and amazing....... These friends are the gifts given by fate which I really cherish.  It is really sad that I can't join in the workshop, face to face class or life club with others in EF school anymore, especially to meet some wonderful teachers who I like so much! James, Johnas, Dave, ...these teachers are my favorates and it is lucky that I have been in their intersting classess before for more than three times......
I like James,
 the really gentleman comes from England and marrys with a Chinese girl, who works for EF as well. He looks like Bill Gates and has a very very charming, beautiful voice...um, he can be an outstanding announcer. I appreciate Johnas's class and his earnest attitude.
 I can feel he prepares for the lesson very well in advance for each class. In addition, he controls the time accurately and always finishes the class on time. By the way, he is very handsome, um,.... For Dave, the new teacher in EF comes from Welsh. He was really nice and funny..also, he is one of my favorate teachers. I used to be one of the students for his first class, and that was the chance for us got to know each other.......um, he has a charming girlfriend who I can't believe majored in political science.
 All of them, and other teachers as well, gave me a lot of help and encouragement during the past which made me confident and found the interesting in learning English..... I know the improvement I made contains my diligent work (Sometimes only, because most of the time I am quite lazy, haha) and teachers' great help.......Thanks so much!! In addition, the most important thing is after talking with them or learning from them, I found the amazing thing English provided for me----the colourful world with its multi-cultures and differences....
I really hope they can see my words as above and have a really nice time in China...... Hope they can be my teacher all the time...... April 05 Tomb-sweeping Day Can we just say it is Tomb-sweeping Day? I have no idea about that but get this word from the dictionary. Please help to correct me if I am wrong....... We call it "Qing Ming" in Chinese.
The celebration of this day is to paying respects to ancestors and the dead. Bacause we think the died ancestors are always looking after the whole family. This is a family event that people come back home and go to the grave while offering foods and goods to pray the respect and missing. We burned some money which it is not the real one but made by paper as well. People think this money can be tranferred to the hell by burning.
Nowdays some people still do the same things for celebrations, but from the point of my view, people just follow the traditional ways but are not that superstitious as before. Especailly for the yong generation...
For me, I never do that......
BTW, Etto came back to his homtown for celebration yesterday.... unfortunately, he got sunburn from the extreme power of the sun by walking out almost the whole day... Oh, pooor Etto |
